What To Do For The 4th Of July In Denver

It’s America’s day, the office is closed and we want nothing more than to get outside and celebrate! We have searched high and low for some fun team activities for today and tonight.

What Is Going On For The 4th Of July In Denver?

Applewood Valley UMC’s July 4th Ice Cream Social (Golden, CO)

From 11am to 1pm today, Applewood Valley is hosting their Ice Cream Social, complete with a bicycle parade, games, crafts, a fire truck visit, and ICE CREAM! We can’t think of a better way to start a day off than this!

The 2018 4th Of July Park Hill Parade (Denver, CO)

You can’t really beat the 4th of July Park Hill Parade! This family and community-friendly event happens along 23rd Avenue today. The parade starts at 1:30 this afternoon so make sure you’re lined up by then to see everything!

The Elitch Gardens Fireworks Show, Presented By Pepsi (Denver, CO)

If you’re looking for somewhere to watch fireworks in downtown Denver, don’t miss the show from Elitch Gardens!

Aurora’s 4th Of July Spectacular (Aurora, CO)

The Aurora Municipal Center is hosting their spectacular, complete with music from Narrow Gauge and Syndicate. Their fireworks show starts at 9:30pm.

The Hudson Gardens & Events Center Fireworks Show (Littleton, CO)

If you’re thinking of getting a little bit outside the city, then check out the Hudson Gardens & Events Center Fireworks Show tonight in Littleton, Colorado. The fireworks will start right after the Firefall concert tonight.

The Colorado Rockies Game, Followed By Fireworks (Denver, CO)

Tonight, the Colorado Rockies are playing the San Francisco Giants. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the 4th of July than America’s favorite pastime! After the game, Coca-Cola and King Soopers have sponsored a fireworks show to close out the holiday. Tickets are still available!

This Weekend In Denver

And with the 4th of July falling in the middle of the week (blech!), if you’re still looking for something fun to do this weekend, you **may** find some of the Monsters at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival here in Denver. If you haven’t been to this event before, may we suggest checking out the Culinary Avenue first? We’re especially fond of the Alpine Sausage Company’s Louisiana Hot Links and Lazo’s Empanadas! Of course, there’s amazing artwork there, too!

Special Note

The Denver Media Group offices are closed for the 4th of July, but we'll be open again and back at it on Thursday, July 5th!
